This growth in mango exports is followed by Lambayeque and Áncash.
In the second half of 2021, Peruvian fresh mango exports reached 65,000 tons, showing a growth of 38% compared to the 47,000 tons exported in the same period of the previous year. This was stated by the consulting firm Inform@cción, after mentioning that Peru’s fresh mango campaign runs from November to March, with the harvest peaking in January.

These figures were also validated by the Foreign Trade Center of the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCEX), through its statistical platform Camtrade Plus, from where it was also possible to extract that the behavior of shipments in the current campaign (2021/2020) was as follows: In November, 12,910 tons were shipped and in December (until the 27th) 47,965 tons were shipped.
